Full bio
Nguyễn Phi Vân has spent more than twenty-five years building brands, retail models and franchise systems across Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Eastern Europe. She did that work as a senior executive inside multinationals long before she did it from a stage — which is why what she says on one holds up when a room takes it back to the office on Monday.
Today she chairs Go Global Holdings, which has invested in fourteen Vietnamese small and medium enterprises, and the Vietnam Franchising & Licensing Network. She is a board director of the ASEAN Business Angel Alliance Network and a Senator for Vietnam at the World Business Angels Investment Forum, advises the Vietnamese government on startup ecosystem development, and invests as an angel in thirty-four technology startups across the United States and Southeast Asia.
Outside business, she founded Library of Dreams, which has built 376 creative libraries for children across 29 provinces of Vietnam and is working towards a thousand by 2030, and the Go Global Learning Hub, a free skills platform for young Vietnamese carrying more than a hundred courses.
She has written eleven books, in Vietnamese and English, on franchising, technology, the future of work and the skills the next generation will actually need. One of them, NYM, was written together with an artificial intelligence — years before that stopped being unusual.
